20 Felony Arrests In Angelina County Nov 18 – Nov 24

From November 18th to 24th, 2024 there were 20 felony arrests in Angelina County. This is up from 14 last week and close to 18 the prior week.

Family Violence And Drugs In Angelina County

There are a lot of drug charges this week in Angelina County, and many more women have been arrested. With 20 arrests you usually get a mixed bag, but I caught a common thread.

Most people getting arrested have been in trouble with the law before. They have either been doing drugs, hitting a family member, or doing drugs and then hitting a family member now and in the past.

One of the women was charged with assaulting a pregnant person. One of the men was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Angelina County Is Very Fortunate To Have The Family Crisis Center

I heard a story about a woman who was fleeing her abusive spouse with her children. She traveled from a major city over 3 counties away to the Family Crisis Center of East Texas in Lufkin.
