Ellen Trout Zoo Boo Is On In Lufkin, Texas
Night one of the Ellen Trout Zoo Boo was a big success, and there is another night of fun awaiting at the Zoo tonight. Night two is usually an even bigger night, since everyone is out at various area high school football games on Friday.
If you weren't able to make it out on Friday, October 21, 2022 they are doing it again tonight Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 6 pm to 8pm.
There is so much candy and all of the kids will enjoy some safe trick or treating in Lufkin. We are all just very glad that the Zoo Boo is back again after two years of the pandemic.
Kids Are Guaranteed Candy At Ellen Trout Zoo Boo
Lots of kids showed up to give their costumes a test run before Halloween. There were plenty of dinosaurs, pumpkins, and some creative costumes.
One kid showed up as Mac and Cheese last night. It was the microwave kind, so they know what is up.
The costume contest is the place to show off your best for the judges and for me. I get to MC the contest every year and I am always amazed at what some of the kids get up to.
Enter To Win The Costume Contest At The Zoo Boo In Lufkin
The costume contest is for kids 0 -10 years old, divided into two different age groups and four different categories. It doesn't cost anything extra to get in the competition.
The prizes are things from the Ellen Trout Zoo gift shop. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for kids. If you are a member of the Friends of Ellen Trout Zoo you get in free as a perk.
