- Historic Nacogdoches

- North Mound Street
If you have eaten your way through all of the restaurants in Nacogdoches, Texas at some point you might have tried The Cottage Wine Bar + Bistro located at 122 North Mound Street.
It is a wine bar with a remarkable selection of local, domestic, and international favorites. They are also a premiere dining spot serving high-end dishes like prime rib, filet mignon, and seabass.
Benjamin Sullivan opened the establishment in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 and since there is a lot of outdoor seating, it just worked out. Sullivan is now moving on to his next adventure and The Cottage Wine Bar has new owners.
The Cottage Wine Bar In Nacogdoches Gets New Owners
Yesterday on social media The Cottage Wine Bar announced that they had sold the business. Kelsey and Stephen Gibson will be the new owners.
They will more than likely pull their own vision into the business at some point, but everything seems to be business as usual at the establishment. They will retain the staff and there is nothing holding them back from continued success at the location.
They will keep the spirit of The Cottage alive and the doors open. There could be a name on the horizon, among other changes, as the Gibson family gets acclimated to the business.
Earlier in the week it was noted that if you have gift cards for The Cottage, that you should use them up. I wish the new owners success in this next chapter for the restaurant.
