The Marvel Cinematic Universe has another hit on their hands, as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is getting praise all over the world. The latest movie is sure to generate huge amounts of money at the box office, and has laid the groundwork for more Marvel projects.

We're NOT going to cover anything with spoilers here. We're going to talk about a character that has been advertised as part of the movie for months. She's been promoted by name, and shown in almost all of the trailers for the film, so we're not spoiling anything by talking about her.

We're talking about America Chavez...

The latest super-powered member of the MCU is played by Xochitl Gomez. She's definitely going to have a long career with Marvel. The character of America Chavez is one of the most over-powered characters we've seen on-screen yet, which means she'll have a big role to come.

But we can't get into a lot of that without spoiling some of Multiverse of Madness, so lets get to the Texas tie.

Xochitl Gomez isn't from Texas, she's from Los Angeles. But she wasn't actually the only person bringing America Chavez to the screen in Multiverse of Madness either. There was another person helping Doctor Strange.

Lorena Abreu is a newcomer to the world of the major movie world, in fact, according to her IMDB, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is her first major project. So what did she do in the film? She was the stunt double for America Chavez in the film.

Abreu was born in the Dominica Republic, but her family moved to McAllen, Texas was she was very young. She grew up in Texas, playing baseball and attending high school...and taking lightsabers to prom.

Even though Multiverse of Madness was Abreu's first major motion picture, you might have actually seen her before. If you have caught Fox's Ultimate Tag, you've probably seen her catch people under her real-life super alias Atomic Ant...

Honestly, checking out some of Abreu's work on Youtube, we're hoping that she gets even more MCU time. But instead of doing stunts, she should get her own superhero role on-screen. We don't have an idea of who she should play, but check out her work in the video above, and see if you have any ideas.
