It was a sweet day, literally, at day one of the 72nd Angelina County Fair presented by Brookshire Brothers.  Youngsters from across the area showed off the cooking skills in dessert and cheesecake competition.  Actually, preparation and cooking is just part of the presentation.  In many cases, the contestants give judges a detailed run down of what inspired them to choose their dishes, how it was prepared and nutritional value among other things.
