Hurricane Isaac continues to move inland, ever so slowly, through southeastern Louisiana, bringing with it battering winds with gusts to 100mph and rainfall that could total nearly 20 inches in some locations.

Forecasts have varied greatly as to what we can expect in East Texas, but here's the latest.

The Pineywoods will have another breezy day with northerly gusts up to 30mph, which has prompted the issuance of a Lake Wind Advisory today. We will only have a slight chance of rain today, however the rain chances will increase to at least a 50% chance tomorrow. The National Hurricane Center has greatly decreased the amount of rain that East Texas could get from the storm. They say we can now expect from a quarter inch to nearly an inch scattered throughout the area.

As of 10am, forecasters are predicting that Isaac should take a track through central Louisiana and then into Arkansas over the next 48 hours.
