Arnold Schwarzenegger to Donald Trump: Stop Talking Hollywood, Get to Work
Arnold Schwarzenegger has taught Donald Trump a very valuable lesson: The Terminator does not go down quietly.
Earlier today (January 6), Schwarzenegger — who took over for Trump as host of Celebrity Apprentice ahead of its current eighth installment — chided Trump for the president-elect's critique of the show's early slumping ratings. Trump spent the morning tweeting things like "Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got "swamped" (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT," even though he's got a very critical intelligence briefing with experts from the CIA, FBI and NSA on the horizon.
It is also worth noting that Trump remains an executive producer on Celebrity Apprentice.
"There's nothing more important than the people's work," Schwarzenegger replied to Trump to Twitter-applause from his audience. "I wish you the best of luck and I hope you'll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings."
Schwarzenegger also uploaded a video to Twitter in which he shared this Abraham Lincoln quote, which he called an "important message": "We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection."
Schwarzenegger added, as himself: "We are neighbors, we are friends and most importantly, we are all Americans."
