Being a 90s kid myself, I think that that was a pretty good time in history. Lots of cool stuff was going on. Namely, some pretty big titles in movies came out at that time. Let's think back to the 90s movie scene.

Toy Story, the original Disney-Pixar movie featuring Tim Allen, Tom Hanks, and Don Rickles, came out in 1995. Men In Black, starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, came out in 1997. Aladdin, the animated movie featuring the comedy of Robin Williams as a giant, blue genie from a lamp, came to theaters in 1992. Godzilla, featuring Matthew Broderick, hit the big screen in 1998.

Now that we've reviewed, let's fast-forward to 2019.

Have you seen the movie titles that are in theaters RIGHT NOW? See if this list looks familiar:

  • Toy Story 4
  • Men In Black: International
  • Aladdin
  • Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Pretty interesting, right?

It's almost as if we've jumped into a Hollywood time warp from the 1990s! I mean, I'm not complaining or anything, but it's still interesting to me that some of the movies that came out in that time period have huge sequels coming out all at the same time. And, what's more, is that that time is right now!
