Child Riding a Bicycle is Hospitalized After Being Hit by a Car

A child is in recovery at a local hospital after being hit by a pickup Tuesday (June 25) .

KAMC News reports that the incident occurred at about 7:40 p.m. near 24^th Street and the northbound West Loop 289 frontage road.

A 7-year-old riding a bicycle was reportedly hit by a pickup and suffered moderate injuries. The unnamed juvenile was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

There’s no word on who is at fault for the accident and police have not announced any arrests or charges being filed.
