Angelina College officials and faculty members are pleased to release the names of 74 students named to the President’s Honor List for the Spring 2021 semester, as well as the 132 students named to the Dean’s Honor List for the Spring 2021 semester.

To qualify for the President's List, students must have enrolled in at least 12 semester hours of college-level work and have attained a grade point average of 4.0. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must have enrolled in at least 12 semester hours of college-level work and have attained a grade point average of 3.5 with no grade lower than a “C”.

Using March 2019 data from the Social Security Administration, Stacker compiled a list of the most popular names in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C., according to their 2018 SSA rankings. The top five boy names and top five girl names are listed for each state, as well as the number of babies born in 2018 with that name. Historically common names like Michael only made the top five in three states, while the less common name Harper ranks in the top five for 22 states.
