Several people gathered in Nacogdoches Saturday for gun rights.

Representatives from the group Open Carry Texas were at the rally, along with several other groups.  The rally was hosted by The Texas Sons of Liberty Riders.

The event called the “Take it Nacogdoches rally” featured speakers and organizations that aimed to bring awareness to gun safety and laws.  Several groups encouraged the public to exercise their rights and make carrying a firearm in public part of their routine, according to KTRE.

The TX Sons of Liberty Riders say on their website they have another rally planned for October in San Antonio.  Click HERE to connect with them and get involved.
