East Texas Man Killed in Accident Out-of-State
A Diboll man is dead after an accident over the weekend in Louisiana, in Sabine Parish.
It happened Sunday morning, and Louisiana State Troopers say the drivers of the two pickups were both from Texas: 29-year-old Tommy F. Tilley Jr. of Diboll, and 65-year-old Earl John Broussard of Baytown.

Tribute Today in Houston to Honor Fallen Firefighters
Firefighters from across Texas are heading to Houston to honor fellow firefighters killed in the line of duty last week. East Texas firefighters are among those headed south to fill Reliant Stadium today at 10am for the tribute.
We mentioned yesterday that the Houston Astros wore patches on their uniforms to honor the four lives lost. Today, the football stadium will be fill with family, friends, supporters, and members of the Crockett and Lufkin Fire Departments at a public memorial.
