In the past we've had brutal ice storms, weeks of sub-freezing temperatures, snow on Easter, months - literally - MONTHS of triple-digit weather in the summer, and the list goes on and on.

This year has been a comparatively mild winter, considering some of the weather we've had in previous winters. Yes, we have had a few frigid days, but for the most part, it's stayed pretty warm since winter 2017 started.

But, it looks like we're not done with weird weather, just yet. The video below was taken in Waxahachie, earlier today.

That's right, that's hail that you're watching, less than 3 hours away from here. Here's one more video:


That's pretty crazy, considering that the temperature hit 81 degrees here this afternoon. Looks like our friends to the North (Northwest?) got some weather that we're glad we didn't get.

But, before we get too excited, we have to remember that it's supposed to be 20 degrees cooler than today was here in Deep East Texas by the end of the week. Let's just hope that we don't get any of this, though:
