Ever hear the saying if you mess with the bull you get the horns? Well in one Texas woman's case it's a bison.

Bison R North America's largest land animal Rebecca Clark of Texas found that out the hard way while hiking Caprock Canyon State Park in Texas.

Home to the Texas State Bison Herd, Rebecca shared a video on social media showing how a bison gored her while she was hiking alone.

"I was charged and gored by a bison because I was too CLOSE to being passing them on a railway," "I am posing to support safety while enjoying Texas State Parks."

She went on to explain in another video how the bison gored her with his horns, ramming her in the back, and then tossing her into some bushes.

She says it was over 50 minutes before help arrived explaining she didn't have great cell service or access to 911.

Thankfully she was eventually able to get a call out to friends and family who then called for help.

Then a helicopter transported her to the nearest hospital.

Worse for wear, and with a few gashes and bruises, Rebecca says she learned a lesson but still wants to go back to hike caprock
