Just months after a school shooting led to the North Harris campus evacuation, Lone Star College was struck with another violent tragedy on Tuesday morning.

KHOU reports that at least 14 people were injured on the Cy-Fair campus after witnesses said two males were running down the hallway in the Health and Sciences Center, stabbing students at random. Four victims were taken to Memorial Herrman Hospital with critical injuries, six students are at North Cypress Medical Center and the rest were rushed to the Texas Medical Center hospitals.

The incident was reported around 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday (April 9) via Lone Star College's Twitter account:

LOCKDOWN at LSC-CyFair. Seek shelter now. If away, stay away. Updates to follow. #lonestarcollege

The official Twitter account also posted that the Harris County Sheriff's Department is on the scene and has one suspect in custody, with another on the loose. The school also tweeted that the CyFair campus will be closed for the rest of the day, while the Fairbanks Center remains open.

KHOU will continue to provide updates to this breaking story.
