KVIA Anchor Isabella Martinez Says Goodbye to El Paso
Say it isn't so! KVIA is saying goodbye to one of its most beloved personalities, but viewers can take comfort knowing a familiar face is ready to step into the spotlight and continue the legacy.
For many Borderland viewers, Isabella Martinez became a familiar face they welcomed into their homes each day. Now, after nearly three years at KVIA ABC-7, Isabella is saying goodbye to El Paso as she returns home to Miami, Florida.
KVIA announced Isabella's departure during Friday's 4 p.m. newscast, where colleagues, friends, and family members shared heartfelt messages celebrating her time in the Borderland.

Isabella Thanks Viewers For Following Her Journey
Isabella tearfully addressed viewers during the newscast thanking those who followed her journey. From reporting on Good Morning El Paso to anchoring the noon newscast and most recently bringing fun and personality to Seven in the City, Isabella has grown right in front of viewers eyes!
Isabella explained that the decision to leave was her own and comes from a desire to spend more time with family while she takes a moment to reflect on the next chapter of her career and life.

I still remember meeting Isabella as I was preparing to leave KVIA. Her energy was absolutely infectious, and it didn't take long to realize she was destined to succeed in whatever role came her way!
She brought positivity into every room she entered and yes, she also has some of the most amazing hair you'll ever see on television!

Watching Isabella grow from reporter to anchor and eventually become the face of Seven in the City was inspiring. But just as memorable was the genuine friendship she developed with KVIA GMEP weather anchor Sarah Coria.
Their social media reels regularly had me and Grizz laughing out loud and honestly, we’re going to miss seeing their crazy antics on our news feeds, but we are happy to see what the future has in store for Isabella.
A new chapter for Seven in the City, with a familiar face leading the way
Before saying goodbye, Isabella made sure Seven in the City was left in good hands. She officially passed the torch (or tripod) to fellow KVIA journalist Ilyhanee Robles, who will be taking over as the show's new host.
While viewers will certainly miss Isabella's adventures around the Borderland, Ilyhanee’s energy is just as infectious and positive as Isabella’s was and I am sure she will give Seven in The City the same amount of love that Isabella did!
While Isabella’s time in El Paso may be ending, the impact she made here won't soon be forgotten. Good luck, Isabella! And I’m sure we will still… see you around town! (I’m not crying… YOU ARE!!!)
