Man Gets ‘Stuck’ on American Flag Before Football Game

(KTDY) - Sometimes things happen, and you have to ask yourself, "How did that just happen?" and that's exactly what we were asking ourselves after this video surfaced.

The NFL kicked off its 2025 season this past weekend, and before each game, the National Anthem was performed. Some stadiums had huge American flags stretched across the field, including in New York.

Now, if you've ever attended a football game in person and saw how they stretch these flags, it truly takes a team effort and many people.

Well, one man in New York was part of the team stretching the flag across the field, and somehow, someway, he ended up being on top of the flag as it was pulled and lifted off the field.

You can see the man crawling across the flag as other volunteers assisted in lifting it and as fans looked on. Can you say embrassing

We're unsure how this happened, but given our current digital age, I initially thought the video was produced using Artificial Intelligence (AI); however, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Watch as this poor man crawls across the colors of our country, and I am sure as soon as he made his way off the flag, he would have loved to have jumped into a hole to hide.
