It’s Official: Halloween Season Has Started In East Texas
(Mix 93-1) Those bright orange and yellow lettered signs have popped up in Tyler and Longview, and you know what that means ... the countdown to Halloween is on.
Spirit Halloween Pops Up Again in Tyler
I noticed my first Spirit Halloween store not that long ago while having lunch at Bubba's 33 in the French Quarter at Loop 323 and Broadway in Tyler. The sign on the building was fresh, new, and bright, but the sign by the front door simply read 'Opening Soon', so there's no specific date for this store to open yet.
Two Stores in Tyler for Double the Costumes
But wait, that wasn't the only sighting of a Spirit Halloween store in Tyler. While doing some shopping in The Village At Cumberland Park on S. Broadway in Tyler yesterday, I noticed yet another bright orange Spirit Halloween banner hanging up on that green wall that used to be Joann Fabrics.
Tyler has two stores that will be loaded with everything you need to get you into the spooky spirit and outfitted for that big Halloween party or for a night out of trick-or-treating on October 31st.

As of the writing of this article, you have about two and a half months to decide on your costume this year. Are you going to be Wednesday Addams, a guard from Squid Game, Pokémon, Sabrina Carpenter, a witch, a clown, Bigfoot, an inflatable T. rex, Buzz Lightyear, Stitch, a shark, or even Cher? As you can tell, your options are nearly unlimited, and the best thing is that you can create and be anything you want with all of the accessories that are on hand.
