Did You See The Longview PD Unit Fly Through The Apartment Complex?
What was caught on video in Longview, Texas looks just like an action scene straight from 'The Dukes Of Hazzard' or any of the other countless police/crime shows or a scene from a movie.
I never would have thought I'd see a Longview Police Department patrol unit go flying through an apartment complex like it did if I hadn't seen it for myself in the video.
While dome scrolling through social media up pops this video with the caption of "Longview, Texas Police Department putting in work!" Of course, I've gotta stop and watch this, and good thing I did.
To be upfront and honest, I have no context about what transpired before or after the video. All I can say is this officer wasn't about to let a suspect get away. The video begins with a guy casually walking by a fence and then you see a speeding car in the background quickly followed by a Longview Police patrol unit flying into the screen driving - sorry, bounding - through the lawn of the apartment complex.
As the video continues there is another patrol unit in pursuit of the speeding car on the street. At that point, the videographer couldn't keep up with the action, so we do not know the outcome of the pursuit. But it's pretty wild to see.

I'm sure it doesn't happen that often Longview Police patrol units intentionally go off-roading and bounding through lawns, but in this case, it looks like they'll do anything to stop the suspect. Thankfully the gentleman walking by the fence and the videographer were out of the way of the off-roading Longview Police vehicle.
