Texas Man Charged With Murder for Selling Fentanyl-Laced Pills

Kaeden Farish, a 19-year-old resident of Azle, was accused of murder on February 18. This accusation is related to the death of a 17-year-old from Bedford due to a fatal overdose of Fentanyl in January.

Investigators found that Farish had sold Fentanyl-laced pills to the victim after looking into the overdose incident.

Brand New Law

A new law, which started in 2023, makes it a criminal act of murder to provide Fentanyl that leads to someone's death. Farish was arrested by the Bedford Police on February 2, following a warrant for selling or delivering a controlled substance.

Since then, Farish has been held in Tarrant County Jail. His bond is now set at $175,000 for the charges of murder and selling or delivering a controlled substance.
