Could Nacogdoches Become Home to a Rock & Brews Restaurant?

I feel pretty confident in saying that most people - not all, but MOST - like Classic Rock music. It's good stuff, right? I also feel pretty confident in saying that most people like food. We can agree with that statement, I would hope.

Well, what if you put those two things together? I would say you get a restaurant called Rock & Brews. If you haven't heard of it, Rock & Brews is a restaurant that was started by three Classic Rock fans and two KISS founding members - Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The Rock & Brews website describes the offering as being "classic comfort foods and unique craft beers with a rock 'n' roll vibe". We don't really have anything similar to that in Deep East Texas.

Is Rock & Brews a Good Fit for Nacogdoches?

I would make the argument that Nacogdoches could be a good fit for one of these restaurants. Like we've discussed before, it's already a Music Friendly Texas Certified Community. The other plus is that Rock & Brews is a sit-down restaurant, but it's not a formal restaurant. It's casual, but it's not a fast-food restaurant either. Maybe I'm the only one that looks for restaurants that fit that bill, but I like that environment.

Now, there is a bit of a downside to how well Rock & Brews would fit in Nacogdoches. That downside is the location of other Rock & Brews. Currently, there are two locations in Texas - one in San Antonio and one in Grapevine. Nacogdoches would definitely be a much smaller city location. That could mean that the decision-makers might see Nacogdoches as being too small. But I think it could be worth a consideration.
