Tattoos are super common. So many people have ink. I've even got several tattoos myself. They've gotten so popular over the years that there's even a national day for it.

National Tattoo Day is July 17th

For those of you who didn't know, National Tattoo Day is July 17th. According to the National Day Calendar website, National Tattoo Day "recognizes the history, culture, and artists dedicated to etching ink permanently on the skin." It's been observed as a national day since 2016. There's even a hashtag - #NationalTattooDay.

Whether you already have ink, are planning to get ink, or have no desire to get ink, you can still observe this day. If nothing else, just take a second to appreciate the artwork and skill that goes into tattoos and that can be found throughout the industry.

Tattoo Shops in Deep East Texas

I did some research, and I found lots of tattoo shops right here in Deep East Texas. Of course, the ones that people automatically think of are the ones in Nacogdoches or Lufkin, because those are in the most populated areas and several of them have been around for the longest time. However, there are several other shops throughout our area.

I only put the ones that have active, up-to-date websites, Facebook pages, or both. If they're not listed, but they're still open and taking clients, feel free to let me know.
