It’s True. Nacogdoches is Getting ANOTHER Donut Shop.

You've seen the posts before about the number of duplicate businesses in Nacogdoches. On a related note, I'm sure you've also heard people make jokes about the number of donut shops that are operating in Nacogdoches. Well, this news covers both of those.

Nacogdoches is in fact getting another donut shop. This isn't part of the Nacogdoches rumor mill, as you can see from the pictures below. This is going to be another Nini's Fresh Donuts, like the one currently on South Street.

Where is the New Nini's Donuts Opening?

This new location will be in front of Excel ER and CVS Pharmacy on North Street in Nacogdoches. The address is 1302 North Street. This sign can be seen on the outside of the building:

Previously, it was a restaurant called FIsh Place. In fact, you can still see the Fish Place sign out front. See for yourself:

As of right now, I haven't seen any details about opening dates or anything like that for Nini's. But if there is already signage up, I would say that it's probably not too far away from being officially open. I'll be sure to keep an eye on social media and on the city's different pages to see if I can narrow down that information.

By my count, this will be donut shop #9 for the Oldest Town in Texas. That seems a bit excessive, in my opinion, but I'm no entrepreneur myself. What I am thinking is that if donut shops are that profitable, maybe I should look into opening one - or possibly a half dozen - myself!
