Apparently, one of those workers from Ouachita Parish should have come up with some excuse to not deliver one particular package, but evidently he couldn't fight off the urge.

The mailman, 31-year-old Willie Woodard, along with 27-year-old Leonterrius D. Smith of Monroe have been arrested after Woodard is said to have delivered a package of narcotics to Smith.

In a report from klfy.com, we learn that last Friday, August 25, authorities located a package containing several pounds of marijuana that was to be delivered to a Monroe address.

Then, on Monday, August 28, as police were conducting surveillance of the package, they witnessed Smith stop in front of Woodard and allege that Woodard then gave Smith the package.

According to the original story from klfy.com,

Agents went on to make contact with Woodard and questioned him. During questioning, Woodard allegedly admitted that he drops off two boxes a month to Smith. According to the affidavit, agents observed Woodard prior to this incident and he did not deliver narcotics packages to numerous houses, which are vacant on his route.
