According to a Lufkin Police report, a little after midnight Tuesday morning a delivery driver for Domino's was robbed of pizzas and wings that he was trying to deliver at a location near downtown Lufkin. The driver's wallet was also taken during the armed robbery.

The driver told police that two black males had robbed him and then fled on foot.

Police Quickly Track Down the Suspects

Lufkin Police quickly responded to the scene and were able to track down the suspects to the Pinedale Manor Apartments in the 900 block of South Second Street.

Police investigating the scene believed the suspects to be barricaded inside one of the apartments at the complex. Officers surrounded the apartment, loud-hailed, and two suspects exited without incident. Two additional suspects refused to exit the apartment, but officers entered and took them into custody.

Lufkin Police arrested four men in connection to the armed robbery. Michael Harris, 17, and Amare White, 20 (first photo) and Deanthony Minor, 19, and  Floyd Hennington, 19 (second photo), all of Lufkin, are charged with aggravated robbery in connection to the incident.

Flushing the Evidence Down the Toilet?

While searching the apartment, Lufkin Police found several pieces of evidence that seemed to connect the suspects to the armed robbery.  Officers located Domino’s Pizza boxes, a pistol hidden in a laundry hamper, and uneaten pizza slices in a bathroom toilet as if the suspects were trying to flush the evidence.

Pictures of the pizza in the toilet were not released, so I improvised a little

I'm assuming that the pizza in the toilet was NOT retrieved by police.

All four suspects remained in the Angelina County Jail Thursday morning – Harris and Hennington on bonds of $150,000 and Minor and White on bonds of $100,000.
