2nd Annual Balloon Fest Soars Into Lufkin This Saturday

The 2nd annual Balloon Fest is this Saturday, August 24th, at Kit McConnico Park in Lufkin, Texas. The event starts at 6 p.m. and continues until 9:30 p.m. Junior Achievement of Angelina County presents it.

This year's event will feature live entertainment by J Webb, bounce houses, food trucks, a petting zoo, balloon twisters, and an activity area for the kids.

Hot Air Balloons

Of course, there will be big, beautiful balloons. A total of 8 hot air balloons will be on site including 2 that will be offering tethered rides for $25 per person. You won't want to miss the balloon glow that takes place as the evening grows darker.

You're encouraged to visit with the pilots and ask them questions about their balloons. Be sure and take pics and selfies to remember the event.
