HEB Recalls Store Brand Dairy Products That May Be Contaminated
The Texas-based HEB supermarket chain has issued a full recall of some of its HEB store brand dairy products.
HEB is asking customers to check their refrigerators for 8 oz., 16 oz., 24 oz. and 32 oz. sizes of HEB Brand cottage cheese, dips, yogurt and sour cream sold between June 18 and July 27.
The 4-ounce and 6-ounce sizes are not included in the recall.
The recall affects dairy products sold at all HEB stores, the HEB-owned Central Market, Mi Tienda and Joe V’s. HEB's marketing department says they've learned that these products could possibly contain a foreign material, which it didn't identify.
There are no reports that anyone has been sickened or injured by these products, but they're recalling them as a precautionary measure. HEB says customers can return them to the store for a full refund.
There are HEB stores in Lufkin, Carthage, Conroe, Crockett, Huntsville, Livingston, and Lumberton.
Customers with concerns or questions may contact HEB Customer Relations at 1-800-432-3113.
