Former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin Await Biopsy For Throat Cancer
Former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin is known for making plays on the football field, but now he is facing a bigger challenge as he awaits the results of a biopsy to indicate whether he has throat cancer.
According to CBS 19, known as "The Playmaker" Irvin posted on social media from a hospital bed in Los Angeles concerned that he may have throat cancer and had tests to confirm whether he has the disease.

He mentioned during the Cowboys and Saints Irving got excited and started losing his voice which caused him to get tested. Also, his father died at the age of 51 to throat cancer and he is asking the fans for prayers as he await the results.
Michael Irving played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1989 - 1999 and played college football at the University of Miami.
