Now that the online shopping madness is over, what should we do with all those boxes?  If you haven't recycled them yet, here's a great idea that will help you declutter the house and help Goodwill at the same time.

Several big online sellers, including Amazon, are part of the Give Back Box push, which is a pretty simple way to get rid of the shipping boxes that are piling up in the garage and help a neighbor at the same time.

Just fill up your empty boxes with items around the house that you want to donate and print out a free shipping label at GiveBackBox.com.  You can drop the box off at your nearest post office or UPS store or schedule a pickup through the website.  Once Goodwill receives your stuff, they'll make use of the donated items like they always do, and they'll recycle the boxes too.

We've got Goodwill locations in Lufkin, Diboll, and Nacogdoches, and I'm sure they could use the boost this time of year.  The Give Back Box would make them happy, and it would help us not feel bad about all the well-packaged stuff we ordered over the past month. Win-win.
