Cody Johnson, Parker McCollum Announce Shows at Nacogdoches Expo

Every year, for the past several years, East Texas' own Cody Johnson has been coming to the Nacogdoches Expo Center for huge concerts featuring capacity crowds. It's billed as Cody Johnson & Friends and some of those recent friends have included Mark Chesnutt, Josh Abbott Band, Josh Ward and many others.

Usually the annual show is in the late Winter or early to mid-Spring. In 2020, Cody's Nacogdoches show happened on February 8, which means that concert occurred just before things started going nuts with postponements and cancellations due to the Coronavirus pandemic. So, the question for 2021 has been will CoJo be returning to Nacogdoches. I'm happy to say, the answer is YES!!

Cody Johnson & Friends will be coming to the Nacogdoches Expo Center on Saturday, June 12. The identity of the 'Friends' will be revealed over the next several weeks. Johnson used the time off from touring to take to social media and put on several Facebook Live concerts, but recently, we've been seeing CoJo filling some May tour dates on his website. Now, Nacogdoches has been added to that list. Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 2 here. Given the popularity of Cody and given that folks are just chomping at the bit to get out to a live concert again, I wouldn't wait long to get your tickets.

There's more great news when it comes to concerts at the Nacogdoches Expo Center. Also, just announced, Parker McCollum will be in concert there on Saturday, April 24. His musical guests will be Read Southall Band and William Beckmann. Tickets for that show will go on sale Wednesday, March 31 here.
