Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas to Host ‘Registration Rallies’
Transitioning from high school to college can be rather intimidating. Figuring out what classes you need to take, finding out where those classrooms are located, and just getting comfortable with new the surroundings can be daunting. Plus, I've heard numerous horror stories of students trying to navigate through all this via phone calls, or sitting in a registrar's or counselor's office just hoping to meet with someone.
Thankfully, Angelina College is trying to alleviate some of the frustration and confusion that usually comes with a new semester.
How About Some Face-to-Face Time?
This Thursday, August 11, Angelina College will be hosting a full day of helping to advise students with a 'registration rally'. This session will give prospective Roadrunners the opportunity for face-to-face advising on the AC campus, located at 3500 South 1st Street in Lufkin.
Students will begin the process at Roadrunner Central inside the Student Center. There, they’ll be able to ensure all documentation (including financial aid packets) are in order. From the Student Center, students will be directed to the campus library, where they will be able to meet face-to-face with advisors ready to help students register for classes.

But Wait, There's More
If you are unable to make Thursday's registration rally, a second one will take place on Wednesday, August 17. Both sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The Fall 2022 semester begins on Monday, August 22.
Do yourself a favor and take advantage of this great opportunity. It will probably save you a lot of stress in the long run.
