As if we needed another reason to hate the Kardashians...

At 8:46 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, most national news outlets took a break from their regular programming to air a special "moment of silence" from New York City and Washington D.C. to honor the victims of 9/11. We say "most" because, as it turns out, not everyone was a participant. While FOX, CBS, ABC, CNBC and MSNBC went quiet at this time, which was the moment 11 years ago when the first plane hit the Twin Towers, NBC continued on with the 'Today' show, which just so happened to feature an interview with Kris Jenner of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.'

Metaphorically speaking of course. When former Vice President Dick Cheney releases his memoir early next week, it may cause the second earthquake in Washington, D.C., this month.

“There are gonna be heads exploding all over Washington,’’ Cheney told NBC’s Jamie Gangel in an exclusive interview that will air on NBC’s “Dateline” next Monday.

Controversial talk show host Glenn Beck, appeared on The Today Show this morning with Meredith Vieira to talk about his new self-help book "The 7 Wonders That Will Change Your Life".

Though he's known for his strong political views and outspoken personality, Beck showed a softer, more compassionate side while talking about his past - even when Vieira tried pushing his buttons.
