Yesterday, a brand new business officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This business is actually a new meat market in Nacogdoches. Now, I will say this: Until that ribbon-cutting ceremony for Moon's Cajun Meats, I had never been in a Cajun meat market before. Now that I've been, I'm already excited to go back.

I saw coolers stocked with stuffed chicken breasts, stuffed peppers, crawfish etouffe, stuffed tenderloin, boudin, boudin balls, and so much more! I saw, and got to try jambalaya, meat pies, and more. And that's only scratching the surface! I found out they're going to be boiling crawfish there too! Here's a few of the things we saw while we were there:

I'm not a Cajun, but I love Cajun food. So, I'm pretty excited to see what else is in store for this place. If you're not sure about the location, it's at 2709 Westward Drive in Nacogdoches. It's located right next door to CC's Smokehouse (It's the bright red building that says Moon's Cajun Meats on the front...you can't miss it...).
