The former Corrigan City Manager, Eva Perry, resigned recently, saying she wants to further her career in criminal justice.  Perry had been the City Manager since March of 2011.

To provide legal guidance in the search, the City Council voted to hire a new City Attorney, in the person of Lufkin attorney Luan Tatum.

Meanwhile, the City Council continues its search for a new City Manager.

Somewhere in east Texas there is a young assistant City Manager who is looking to move up the career ladder, and Corrigan would be the perfect place for that.
