Community Gathers in Wells to Help Kids Involved in Tragic Accident

There will be a huge event in Wells today benefitting the family of David and Davion Stone. 12-year-old David was killed when the motorized scooter he was riding was struck by a vehicle. His younger brother Davion has been in a Shreveport hospital receiving treatment. The Wells High School and Jr High cheerleaders, FCCLA, and other students and community members will be hosting a variety of benefits today including a bake sale, yard sale, lemonade stand, and more. These events will be taking place at the brick house beside the Wells schools on Highway 69.
All proceeds will go for the funeral and medical expenses.
