We know that last year was a bad wildfire season. In fact it was the worst season for wildfires since the Texas Forest Service started keeping records in 1922.
Some talented artists though have made art from the ashes, and now that's on display at the Texas Forestry Museum in Lufkin.
The popular Texas Forestry Museum in Lufkin has opened a new classroom and learning laboratory to teach young people about the forest products industry and its importance to the economy of east Texas.
