Fall is near. And when Starbucks unleashes its Pumpkin Spice Latte, that will raise the gates for the flood of pumpkin spice cereal, potato chips, beer, hummus, and body lotions to take over stores and wash our houses in orangish brown. We're less than a week away.

Starbucks is adding a new drink that will not only give us a huge caffeine buzz, but it might also cool us off when the Texas heat gets cranked up this summer.

You know it's coming. The pumpkin spice explosion. It usually happens around Labor Day, but one East Texas restaurant might beat everyone else by releasing the pumpkin spice latte on this August date.
Starbucks is hoping its customers will be willing to pay at least $5 more when they stop in for their morning cup of Joe. Starting November 1, Starbucks will begin asking customers for donations of $5 or more to stimulate job growth through its “Jobs for USA” program.
The new logo for Starbucks was released and — hold on a second — it doesn’t say Starbucks on it. Chances are most people won’t notice, since they will be in a caffeine-haze.
