Winter Storm Warning continues…we’re hearing reports of a number of vehicles across East Texas that are sliding off streets and highways…BE CAREFUL!! Here’s the latest list we have on closures and delayed starts.

Winter advisory warning for East Texas: Bitter cold temperatures plunged into Texas and the Deep South on Thursday as a massive winter storm exited the United States for the Canadian Maritimes.

If the snow is expected to continue heading towards Dallas, there may not be a Super Bowl on Sunday; at least, not in Dallas. CNN reports the latest information about the snowstorm hitting more than 30 states today.

This is when I truly appreciate living in Texas, and not on the East Coast... A quick-hitting storm is supposed to be hitting the East Coast and parts of the South such as Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi on Wednesday. Perhaps this will be a repeat of what the Northeastern part of the U.S. received in late December/early January?
