Here at the radio station, we get pretty curious whenever we hear sirens and/or see emergency vehicle go by.

One of the repercussions of creating a huge feast is having an enormous amount of leftovers.  You might be bound and determined to eat and eat until you're sick, but even then you and your family might have a little green bean casserole to spare. So we don't feel totally guilty about our gluttony, here are some unique and productive ideas about what to do with all the leftovers.

If you're a firefighter in East Texas, there's a big, strong, beefy pro football player that has a lot of respect and admiration for you.  JJ Watt of the Houston Texans tried firefighter training, and said it kicked his butt!

Earlier this week, Nacogdoches firefighters were treated to home-cooked spaghetti dinners courtesy of the Pack 100 cub scouts.  This Wolf den group of 7 and 8 year old boys visited all five stations in the city.

Firefighters from across Texas are heading to Houston to honor fellow firefighters killed in the line of duty last week.  East Texas firefighters are among those headed south to fill Reliant Stadium today at 10am for the tribute. We mentioned yesterday that the Houston Astros wore patches on their uniforms to honor the four lives lost.  Today, the football stadium will be fill with family, friends
