The nation’s two best college football teams face off for the national title on Monday night in a rematch of last year’s thrilling game, when Alabama edged Clemson, 45-40.

No. 7 Oklahoma rolled up 524 yards of offense against one of the SEC’s best defenses to secure a 35-19 Sugar Bowl victory over No. 14 Auburn.

The Granddaddy of Them All didn’t disappoint as USC beat Penn State in a wild 52-49 shootout that went right down to the wire.

No. 15 Western Michigan’s Cinderella year and dreams of an undefeated season came to an end with a 24-16 loss to No. 8 Wisconsin in the Cotton Bowl Classic.
