Texas will soon have its very own Universal Theme Park and ... being that it's in Texas ... it's going to be the first of its kind.
In Texas, we tend to go bigger and better and the Texas Universal Studios Theme Park is no exception. Part theme park and part resort, it's the first one ever designed especially for families with young 'uns.
It's set to open in Frisco, Texas next year. There are lots of other things to do in Frisco including a visit to Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters.
Universal Kids Resort will feature all kinds of different areas and attractions, all immersive and themed around some of your kids most beloved characters like Shrek ... he gets a "swampy" playground area ... his buddy Puss 'n Boots, Minions, SpongeBob SquarePants and many others. There's also a water park and kids can get up close and personal with dinosaurs in Jurassic World.
