Things are looking good at the new location of Skyline Burrito Bowls in Lufkin. We just got another update from the owner, Tavo Velazquez.
Lots of workers are already hired, but managers are still looking for some help. They are now hiring kitchen staff for mornings only.
The Grand Opening is set for the month of March. If they stick to that deadline that puts us only about 30 days away from a 2nd location churning out those beloved Skyline Burrito Bowls.
Skyline Burrito Bowls Express Will Be In the Brookshire Brothers Gaslight Shopping Center
This location will be nothing like the current Skyline Burrito Bowls you have already experienced. There will be no dining in at this location.
They will have an Express Drive Thru Only. Early on they will have a limited menu with just their top sellers.
This will get food to you faster, as well as keep lines of cars moving quickly in the drive-thru. It will also help ensure that your order is correct.
Owner Tavo Suggests Downloading The Door Dash App
I never go to Skyline with a preconceived notion as to what I am going to get. There are so many options for toppings.
Download the Door Dash app now, so you can order right from there and use the pick-up-only option. It will be less expensive and make your pick-up super fast.
We can make all of our topping decisions online and give staff time to make the orders. This location will be particularly convenient if you work at one of the nearby hospitals.
