Free Hooked On Fishing Event July 13 In Lufkin

Impact Lufkin and the Lufkin Parks & Recreation Department are doing their part to hook your kid on fishing. The Hooked On Fishing free community event is Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 9 AM to Noon.

Bring your bait, rod, reel, and of course your children. The event is for kids 16 and under to learn the joys of fishing.

The fishing area is at the former Lufkin Country Club at 1624 Sayers Street. The registration deadline is July 5, 2024.
