The Badders Law Firm Xtreme Bull Bash presented by Lufkin Ford is coming to the George H. Henderson Jr. Expo Center in Lufkin on Saturday, February 11. Gates will open at 6 pm and the bull riding will get underway at 7:30.

The first-ever Bull Bash took place at the Expo Center in 1990 and through the years legendary names such as Tuff Hedeman, Ty Murray, Norman Curry, J.W. Hart, Bubba Dunn, Jim Sharp, Bodacious, and many others have gone for the 8-second-ride in Lufkin.

In 2022, Koby Radley from Montpelier, Louisiana took home the big check after scoring 89.5 on Chan Man. Who will be the champ in 2023?

A Taste of the NFR Comes to Lufkin

Going to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas is a bucket list event. But, going to the 2023 Xtreme Bull Bash will allow you to see many of the same bull riders and bulls that you would at the NFR.

Thanks to some of the top stock contractors in the world such as Stace Smith, Pete Carr, and Universal Rodeo, over 20 of the bulls featured at this past National Finals Rodeo will be bucking in Lufkin.

Plus, some of the biggest names in bull riding are coming to town. The $7 million dollar man, JB Mauney will be at the event. 7-time world champion Sage Kimzey will also give it a go. In 2022, Stetson Wright won his fourth consecutive PRCA All-Around World Championship while claiming his second bull riding world title. He ended the season winning $927,940, shattering the record for most money won in a season. Wright will also be competing at this year's Xtreme Bull Bash.

Bull Riding Hall of Fame member Chris Shivers will again be back in the arena in Lufkin working the bulls on horseback.

Barrelman Cody Sosebee is coming to this year's event along with bullfighters Bryce Redo (2022 NFR Bullfighter) and Brandon Smith.
