Those who take action by visiting the Municipal Court can have their warrant cleared. No one will be arrested when coming to pay.

Warrant fees will be waived for anyone voluntarily coming forward and paying at least half of the outstanding balance, with the remaining balance set up on a payment plan. Anyone paying in full can save an additional 20% off fines (not including court costs).

There are two extra dates when the Municipal Court will be open on Saturday for payments from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (February 22nd and March 22nd only)

Anyone who has an active warrant(s) is subject to arrest, publication of their name online, and increased costs. For those who are unable to pay half or the full amount upfront, the court will work with them to create a reasonable action plan to clear the warrants.

The Lufkin Municipal Court is offering multiple ways to settle outstanding warrants: visit in person, call, or handle it online. Contact the Lufkin Municipal Court at (936)633-0315 or courtinfo@cityoflufkin.com for more details
