NEW YORK – APRIL 4: Worshipers gather in Times Square Church for Sunday services April 4, 2004 in New York City. Times Square Church was converted from a theater into a church in 1987 and serves over 8,000 people from more than 100 countries weekly. Times Square’s 100th anniversary is being celebrated this year, with the official anniversary coming on April 8, the day New York City Mayor George McClellan officially renamed the area after the New York Times offices moved there.
