He's got the JJ Watt Foundation that has been helping people around Houston for the past several years, he's raising millions for Harvey relief as we speak, and there's a petition circulating to name a highway after him.  Oh, and he's pretty good at football too.  This guy!

On Sunday, JJ Watt spent a couple of hours handing out boxes of supplies in a Houston neighborhood that was hard hit by Harvey.  He's not only raising millions of dollars to help with Harvey relief, but he's putting his muscle to the project too.  No one can ever accuse him of being all talk.  He sure does back up what he says with hard work, on the field and off.

About a week ago, JJ posted a video asking for contributions for Harvey relief, and set the goal of collecting $200,000.  The money started pouring in, and at last check, the fund was nearing $20 million.  And this might just be the beginning of the JJ Watt great Texas takeover.

Now a petition on Change.org is collecting signatures to ask Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner to change the name of State Highway 99 to include JJ Watt.  The highway already shares JJ's number 99, and adding his name seems like a logical next step.

Thousands of signatures have been added so far, and the push to get JJ's name on highways signs grows by the minute.

Could he be any more awesome?  Maybe on the field this Sunday as the Texans take on the Jaguars to open the season.  Finally, some football!  After all of the stress of the past two weeks, Houston is ready for some fun and stress relief.  And JJ Watt leads the way.
