The most popular New Year's Resolutions are also the most commonly broken ones.  In other words, there's no point in making "save more money" our goal for the new year.

Okay then!  What other promises won't we keep?

Are you making a resolution this year? If it's one of these, the odds are it won't be kept.

Time Magazine says these are usually the New Year's Resolutions that get us into January or February and then they fizzle.

Lose Weight and Get Fit
Quit Smoking
Learn Something New
Eat Healthier and Diet
Get Out of Debt and Save Money
Spend More Time with Family
Travel to New Places
Be Less Stressed
Volunteer
Drink Less

Good grief, what's left?!  Shop more?  Okay, we can do that.  And eat more sweets, exercise less, and spend more time with our noses buried in our smart phones instead of talking to actual people face-to-face.  No problem, we got this.  We have just enough determination to get that done.

Seriously, if we put your minds to it, we can do anything.  Sometimes our minds let us off the hook though.  What are you resolving to do in 2016?

We hope it's a stress free year full of traveling to new places, quality time with family, less stress, that fit bod that you've been working so hard for, and no debt.  And at the very least, no hoverboard injuries.

Thanks for listening, and have a very Happy New Year!
