The Historic Pines theater in downtown Lufkin is showing the classic Christmas comedy, "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation," this Saturday (Dec 9).

'Christmas Vacation is just one of the movies in the National Lampoon's Vacation series. You don't have to see any of the others to watch this one, as it follows the Griswold family navigate pesky relatives, annoying neighbors, poorly cooked feasts, and the anticipation of that ever sought after Christmas bonus.

The movie was rated PG-13, back when it came out in 1989, but they were a bit more relaxed with the ratings back then. These Vacation movies always found a way to sneak in some crude humor that might not sit well with today's parents, so be mindful who you bring to see the movie.

Tickets are only $5 for each individual to get into the beautiful theater and watch this Christmas staple on the big screen. You can order tickets here, or get them at the door. Be sure to bring cash, since the Pines Theater doesn't accept cards of any kind.

The movie starts at 7 PM on Saturday, December 9th, so don't miss out on all the laugh out loud Holiday fun.
