According to the Pines Theater event calendar, we are in for a handful of great movies at even better prices.

I still can't believe there are people that haven't been to the Pines theater since they've done their major remodel, although I can't say much since I didn't see how spectacular it all was until just last year.

Most the time (if not all the time) the movie tickets are only five bucks. You can't get a theater experience for a better price really, and their 2017 lineup is something that deserves some applause.

    Fiftieth anniversary print (1992) of classic World War II story, starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid, Claude Rains et al, looks terrific in glorious black and white. A half century later, it still is a sublimely romantic, soul-satisfying experience.

Their odyssey takes them from Fort Smith, Arkansas, deep into the Indian Territory (present day Oklahoma) to find their man.
